looking for a parts manual or copies. For a 1985 fiat allison 14 TE bulldozer. Want to know the part numbers for the 3 filters thats under the plate thats under your feet thats close to transmission. Also when you change the filters are they a pump you have to pump back up. Thanks for any information.
Denese, you can download a pdf. copy of the parts manual from MinnPar. I’ve never heard of a TE but the dozer in your avatar looks like a 14C. The three filters under the floor are for the torque converter, transmission and steering clutch/brake circuit. They should be metal screens and if in good condition can be washed and replaced. There is also a return filter for the steering clutch system under the fuel tank which is a paper element type. Hi Denese, It would be good if you knew the serial number of your dozer to help find the correct manuals. Look for an identification plate attached to the dozer, probably similar to the one below. It would help to post a few photos, both of the identification plate and some of the machine itself.
