Hello, I have a 1987 Cat D3B Dozer, it slowly drips fuel out of both the Fuel Supply Valve and Sediment Nut. It's not dripping to much, just wondering why it is. I took a picture and will post it. I am not 100% sure, but it seems to only leak when I open the fuel supply valve. Thank you
You could try tightening the packing nut on the fuel supply, maybe 1/6 turn to start with and see if it stops leaking. Or back the nut off and add some teflon tape and then tighten. The other valve looks like a standard 3/8 or 1/2" NPT ball valve. You might be able to take the handle off with one screw, and tighten the packing nut under the handle, or there might not be a packing nut.
