I have a 1987 cat D6H. It works for 1 hr then starts getting hot and stop moving. after it cool for a while it starts working properly again for an hour. Is there anyone who have experience this? Your feedbacks and inputs are greatly appreciated. thanks
Thoroughly clean the radiator and coolers , remove the belly pans and clean all the dirt out. Is it the transmission or engine getting hot?

Do what DickJr said above and see if it has any effect then report back on the results. As a matter of interest what oil are you using in thre transmission and when was the oil & filter last changed..? Have you inspected the condition of the transmission suction screen for the presence of any particles..?
