I'm having a hard time finding out if the transmission fluid in my trojan 3500z is hydraulic fluid or transmission fluid.. I can't find a service manual anywhere.. I would almost assume it would be transmission because it's a totally different reservoir but I'm not sure.. Any help would be appreciated
Have you tried calling Tracey Road Equipment in East Syracuse? See if Al is still there in parts. They probably sold it when new. I'm guessing it has a ZF transmission, most likely uses ATF Dextron/Mercon oil. If it is red that would be ATF.
