Recently picked up an 1995 Akerman EC150 with a Volvo badged TD40 motor. Machine has 6700hrs and is in really good shape, with less than 500hrs put on since 2009 (per the date on the air filter). It needed a head gasket, turbo & injectors. Local Volvo dealership has had no luck finding parts. Lucky for me head gasket had a p/n on it & the motor ended up being a Perkins 1004-4T, parts are plentiful. Found a NOS Garrett turbo on Ebay and the local diesel shop rebuilt the injectors. The thing starts and runs great, no leaks and no smoke. Filters have been easy enough to cross. What I really need is service and parts manuals. I purchased a "pdf" version online which was generic, unorganized and very very incomplete. Anybody have a line on manuals for this machine? Some hard to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues blind. Current pressing issue the need to locate the ECO/CAP solenoid as the machine is stuck in high speed travel mode. Thanks!
