1995 Cat 426B Engine removal

Cat 426B 1995. Can the engine be removed without removing the transmission. Thanks for any thoughts

    There are two machines 426B_5YJ and 426B_6KL. The instructions for removing the engine on these machines are the same. It is indicated everywhere that the engine is removed together with the gearbox.
