Help! Hi guys, Just got a second hand Hitachi EX200-3 and the machine was functionally ok when we got it. But now thats its been working the engine overheats after 5 minutes of work. We have checked water pumps, head gasket, cleaned radiators etc and the cooling seems to be ok. The hydraulic oil is getting hot as well. We got the local “doctor” to have a look and he reckons its teh DP sensor. He did some tweaks and now the machgine only overheats after 20 min. Any ideas would be helpful! My only fear is if the problem is with the computer? But I cant think of any obvious faults!
Ironic i am replying to my own thread. But we found the problem in the end. The DP sensor needed replacing. So took the DP sensor off a mate's machine and tried and and voila, problem fixed straight away. Hope the info helps someone!
