I got a cat 320 bl overheating only when worked hard, rads are clean, cools down in minutes to proper operating temp, . operater never lets it hit the red but it goes to the notch just before it. any insite would be greatly appreciated, things got a ton of hours on it.
Also hydr guage is reading normal temps when this is happening.
Did you split the rads apart to clean? If not I will bet there's still crap between the rad and oil cooler.
Does it have a demand fan (clutch) on it..?
