Hitachi excavator – what does ‘BE’ suffix mean?

Per the title, does this mean bulk earthmover? I can't find an explanation in any Zaxis specalogs. Thanks.

    BE = Bulk Excavator It's the Hitachi equivalent of CAT's ME (Mass Excavator) suffix. ME/BE machines have shorter, stronger booms and sticks, and bigger buckets.
