Shall I get a 2+3+2 or a 3+3+2 lowboy rgn to haul up to 125,000 lbs machinery loads in most of the 48 states? 60 inch axle spacing. 60 to 70 ton. $250,000 to $275,000 is my budget new or used. Truck would be a Pete 600hp 280 wheelbase 20,000 lbs steers 46,000 lbs tri axle Thanks

in N.C. you have to have a 3+3+2 to get your axle weights right

125,000# max. payload and be able to haul that much in all of lower 48? There is actually a such trailer as only needing a 2+3+2 to do the job. As a matter of fact I only know of one trailer that can scale 130,000# on 10 axles (2+3+2 w/ 3 axle tractor). You do not need a 4 axle tractor to pull a 2+3+2 trailer for the reason being that 99.9999%+ of all trailers built with a tandem axle jeep will not throw enough weight on the truck to max out a 4 axle tractor. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?input=true&guid=&OHID=4544985
