I am needing some advice on making money with a 2 ton dump i am about to invest in. I'm not sure on what to charge. Any help would be appreciated.
Around here, the smaller one and 2 ton trucks (3500-5500 series) bring the same hourly rate as a tandem. Roughly 65-70 an hour.

The nomenclature for the tonnage of trucks has changed over the years and the regional definitions vary. Also, what will you be doing with it? Delivering materials, hauling for other contractors, hauling for yourself, etc.
