2000 Catepillar 914G solenoid speed sensor

Hi, anyone know where the solenoid with is connected to the wireing from the speed sensor is located? Any pictures? Machine will not go into second gear. Have switched both sensors but nothing changed. and speedometer is not working, measured ohm to aprox 92 on the sensor wire in back of speedo. serie nr 9wm8164

    First a question. Do you know how to access the powertrain ECM diagnostic function.? I would suggest that should be your first step. Once you know what Diagnostic Codes are present then troubleshooting procedures, along with an electrical schematic, will be available to help you get to the root cause of your problem.

    I do have the electrical schematic, can you update me on how to access the powertrain ECM diagnostic function?
