Hi, I know these have been posted before but I was wondering exactly what the 4x4 switch activates on the transmission. I'm going to test the switch in the morning but I was just curious if anyone has a pic or description as to what I'm looking for underneath the machine that I can test to see if the switch is activating the 4 wheel drive unit. Thanks
My guess is it's activating a solenoid which may also be triggered by a relay. But i believe the trans is in 4x4 by default, and goes to 2wd when the solenoid is active. Do you have the power shift trans? Or the manual trans with speed select gear stick?
