My 2001 super M is getting a lot of blow by. Was suggested that I check/clean crank case breather. I get by but I'm not a mechanic. Looking at the plate I don't see how it vents? I know there's a few case mechanics on here. 4200hrs starts right up runs perfect.
The rocker arm posts are pressure fed by oil. They sometimes leak some pressure from under the long head bolt which retains the post, creating oil vapour. Some engines use a hardened washer under the head of the bolt some don't have it. You should try to put some sealant around the bolt heads & re-tension as required. **IMPORTANT** Just do one at a time or you may upset the head gasket.
