Hello, having an issue with intermittent front end loader tilt. Steering was also sluggish unless you moved front end bucket tilt. Thinking it's a resolver issue. What am I looking for? Thanks

Below an illustration of your control valve assembly. #5 is the section that controls the bucket tilt. See the attachment for more details of internal parts and where you should be looking. If you plan on working on the resolvers (note plural) on one section of the control valve you should really do them on all 5 sections once you establish that the repair is a fix for the problem on the bucket tilt section. The Part Numbers for the seals/backup rings/balls in the resolvers are the same for all 5 sections of the valve.

Thanks for the info Nige, is this for the rear backhoe valve? I've been reading and was going to try and duplicate. one of rear resolver may be faulty in the rear control causing my front end loader tilt issue. Will post my results

Still no luck, trying to track down location of the primary and secondary resolver in the loader and tilt (dump) control valve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They were highlighted in the attachment in Post #2. i don't know if an explanation of how the resolver system works is going to help you or just confuse you more. See the attached. Illustration #4 on Page 4 is the one corresponding to any machine with a Serial Number below FDP 07198.

I have the manual. Just doesnt give exact location, read in a post that someone said to remove rear tire and their is acess holes to remove. Been underneath machine and cannot locate. Really dont want to remove whole valve bank.

Found the the primary and secondary resolver assembly. The secondary you have to remove the right rear tire and access through holes in the frame. The primary are underneath, you need to remove the coils then you can see the primary resolver.
