Our IT28G wont start, but when started she will not go int any gear on either of the gear selectors (Joystick or gear stick). Seems like the reason she wont start is because she is in gear on the joystick selector switch but wont go into neutral. HELP?
Yes On Both counts. If you have a shift switch that moves but leaves the wires connected for anything out of neutral, the engine will not crank and if you hotwire it it will never engage any gear until the ECM believes you have shifted through neutral. Look for a damaged For neutral Rev switch. Later Bob
ok thanks, we found the problem. the selector switch on the joystick was give out, and the ECM believed she was still in gear.
