Having trouble with h-55 hammer. Aux Hyd will not power hammer with valve in the hammer one way flow position. Hammer will operate with valve in two way position by using the wrong direction / left side of pedal. When the lever valve on the front of machine is in the one way position the r/ s hose jumps but hammer doesn't work Flow input is correct. Do not get this one
I'm no expert, but it sounds to me like the lines from the hammer may be going to the wrong aux. line on the excavator. Try crossing the lines.
If you say the R/s jumps in the one way position what is the return line (L/s) doing ? Sounds like there might be a ball valve you need to turn on the return line so it goes back to tank instead of through the valve. Follow the return line back and look for any ball valves. Have you run a hammer on this machine before ? Is it plumbed properly for one ?
Yes, the right side is pressure on a mini. I would pull the boots off near the lines in the hammer and make sure right side is labeled in and left is out. Close the two way valve as this lets the oil pressure build on the return side and heats up as it does not go back to the cooler. Make sure your hammer is firmly driven into the ground and all should be good. I would take a look at your couplers as well. I have had some come apart internally and block return.
