The top controller in computer controller stack behind seat has 1 flashing LED, it looks there are 2 LED looking through little window is that normal or should 2 be flashing? ( throttle not working )
Sorry, Can’t answer your LED question. For the throttle not working issue, check the existing throttle cable isn’t seized. If ok, access the onboard diagnostics. To do that ,press and hold the set button then key on or start. After bulb check release the button. Then use the select button to scroll. When a number 0 is on the left side of the screen what is on the right side? If not a zero (0) on the right side then any other numbers will scroll in one second intervals. Those would be machine codes. Post results. . Then scroll until the # 8 is on the left side of the screen. That is your rpm dial voltage. What is the low idle voltage and the high idle voltage? Does the voltage change smoothly through the full range? Post results. Also check #7 which is the EC sensor angle voltage. . List of all available monitor items is in screenshot below.
Sure appreciate your response, 6 weeks till mechanic, will check it out, in between I am going to install manual throttle , need to use machine, (linkage ok can disconnect from step motor and easily pull to full throttle)
Diesel Dave, scrolled thru per instructions when first 0 came up on left side, right side had a #11 scrolling further left side went 1 thru 14 or 15, the throttle voltages at position 8 were at the L 1.8 to 2.0, at full throttle it read 4.6, at #7 position it read 2.6/2.8 . With throttle turned to the left, full stop it read .5, I do have a new stepper motor but have not tried to install and ruin it in case of some other problem. Thanks for your help ( never had any numbers changing at 1 second intervals
At position 8 , Fault # 11 is hydraulic pump2 pressure sensor/ wiring issue, Not related to throttle. It looks like no throttle related fault codes were found. Try engine learning procedure in screenshot below. Also @Blr ,check your messages. .
Thank you very much owe you nice meal, looks like throttle dial voltages were close to normal, I tried engine learn, and it changed it From being able to run at reasonable idle at start and keep running and a slight increase at full throttle, to not starting without manually advancing throttle linkage. This was after engine learn procedure, should I just install new stepping motor and see what happens, can the new one get fried if there is some thing else wrong
The new stepping motor is non returnable after installed so maybe try the engine speed adjustment first. See screenshot below. You can read engine speed in the monitor display list , it’s 4th row from the top marked “n” .
The volt reading on throttle dial to low stop .5 volt at the L on dial is 2 volts high max throttle 4.6/4.7 volt. motor arm only moves 5/16 inch moving stop to stop with throttle dial, you can pull disconnected throttle linkage about 1 inch further to full rpm
