Hey Guys Was working the machine and got a 04-14 code which is low oil pressure extreme. Changed the oil pressure sending unit and code still comes up and shuts the machine down. Looking in the repair manual im trying to find the oil pump relief valve but cant find it on the machine. Anyone pin point me to it? Also any suggestions the machine only has 807 hours on it and runs well. Im thinking its gotta more electrical then an oil pressure problem because i can shut it down and restart it
If you have changed the sending unit and it has the same symptoms as before, I would say the next thing do would be to put a guage in and check what kind of pressure you actually have. That will tell you where to go next in diagnosing the issue.
We have an S205 that does pretty much the same thing. Sometimes will read low oil pressure, sometimes high, shut's engine down at times. Replaced sending unit, no change. Put a manual gauge in pressure port, 60 psi idle/65 psi hi rpm. We've had dealer look it over, still not fixed. Not sure what the problem is with this one. :beatsme
