some more information would be helpful serial number,when did the drive stop,have you checked basics like chains etc, does the joystick feel right mark
Usually its the sun shaft in the final drive. Especially if it sounds like the pump is engaging or changing the sound of engine at all. When walking other side does it freewheel? That would be an easy way to tell. The brake in the travel motor should have it locked tight.
