Hello I have a John Deere 350 DLC excavator and the thumb is not working will only go up wen u push the floor petal forward and wen u push it back nothing happens but engine will rev up alittle just got done with the main pilot Valve and everything else works but the thumb and help will be greatly appreciated thank you
I assume your pilot hoses are running through the pilot signal manifold (PSM) ? From the pilot controller the (2) hoses connect to PSM ports “13” and “14” . The (2) pilot hoses going to the main control valve connect to PSM ports “M” and “ N” . Just double check the ports being used as they can be a bit of a bear to identify. . Also if the machine has factory Deere hard lines auxiliary kit installed double check that the monitor is not in “breaker” mode .
Yes they are running threw the Psm and all right will look now
Any chance u know were they connect to the main pump?
Since you are running through the PSM ,the main hydraulic pump is already being signalled to vary its flow as the auxiliary spool in the main control valve is changing position.
