Hello The 5A fuse for the transmission control lever (TCL) keeps blowing, which then produces codes 4312.06(TCL Selector out of range - Low) and 525.04 (requested gear out of range - Low). In addition to the TCL, the circuit appears to feed the MFWD switch, the clutch disconnect switch and back up alarm relay. Is this a common symptom of a bad TCL? I just picked up the machine. It has 3500 hours. Used it for about 2 hours moving a few piles of dirt so the TCL was cycled frequently. Really appreciate the insight on this one. I am hoping that this it's just a worn out TCL....seems to be an easy fix and the JD dealer has it on stock. Appreciate the help.
Problem solved! Pulled BU alarm relay. TCL operated correctly. No codes. No blown fuse. Installed relay, fuse blew after about 10 minutes of operation. Will troubleshoot relay and BU alarm/wiring.
Welcome to HEF KP&R ! Good job! Thanks for the feedback. Let us know what you find in that circuit.
