What is the easiest way to remove the air trapped in the hydraulic system after the system was drained. According to the manual <> After going through the process of moving the boom, thumb etc, there is hissing/whinning high pitch sound. Stop the machine, to the process above until no more air bubble in the fluid, then stard the process again! One goes more than a pail 5 gallons fluid. Is there any other way. With the latest machines, there is bleed process, much simpler. Any experience that can be shared or suggestions? Thanks CD655

Any machine I have ever had you just make sure you have the pump purged of air and full of oil, then cycle every hydraulic cylinder 3-4 time full in and full out, but slowly. Afreter doing thiis procedure I have never had a problem. It is important that any return to tank line return below the fluid level so it doesnt introduce air into the oil. My experiance is limited to older modle Case, John Deere, Bobcat and Hitachi.

Thanks, so the process discribed. When hearing the hissing/whinning high pitch sound, stop machine, disconnect from the pump, purge until air bubble out, reconnect.. and do the process again until no more hissing sound? Thanks CD655
