Komatsu PC75UU-2 excavator boom will not go down

Komatsu PC75UU-2 excavator boom will not go down, all other controls work as they should. Motor does not even bog down when lever is pushed to lower boom. This is a late 90's model with 3k hrs and hydraulic pilot controls. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Remove the valve core and clean it to see if the situation improves.
