Could anyone help me with these fault codes my backhoe is showing? I can't find them online anywhere. 4047 4205 4206 4207 It just quit and now won't run at all, was just recently serviced a few days ago also. Thank you for any help!
It has been a couple years now since I have worked with these machines but I believe that the 4000 series codes were related to the power shift transmissions operation, There is a gentleman who is very sharp on those maybe he will pop in and give his thoughts. Melt
Yes, these faults are all in regards to power shift issues. 4047 - Charge pressure switch is closed with no frequency input to the TRAX controller 4205 - System can not engage required gear. (Engaged gear is different than requested gear) 4206 - Gear engagement failed 4207 - 1ST/2ND gear shift rail position reporting first gear at startup The early transmissions had issues where the shift rails got stuck. Could also be water in your shift rail sensors. The computer thinks that the 1st/2nd shift rail is stuck in 1st gear. Both shift rails have to move to neutral at start up. Since its not seeing the shift rail move to neutral, its made your fault codes. 1st gear switch is on the bottom, towards the rear. Check the connector and switch. Diagnosing this is difficult without the Case software.
Is there a way to get faults for 4204, and 4031?
I got 4207 on my Case 590 SN. It won't go forward or backwards. How did you fix this problem? Any information would be helpful.
