Ok guys have an odd one or at least odd to me. 2014 s630. Machine has always ran and operated perfectly fine but tonight i got 10 tons of salt delivered and when i went to fire the machine up the loader arm lock wont disengage. If i repeatedly hit the operate button i can get the boom and titlt to jump but all boom and tilt functions are inoperable. I checked the in cab harness and everything seems to be fine. Tried disconnecting the battery for awhile and that finally gave me codes H4028, W4007, and W3276. Any ideas on where to look first or if there are common sources if issue with these machines? The machine has never given me any sort of issue whatsoever and been super reliable and it just seems strange that after sitting for 2 weeks or so it now all of a sudden decided to act up immediately.
Have you seen any of these on your machine?
No can't say that i have
So small update, realized this afternoon that if i ever so slightly pull rearward on the right joystick i can get the machine to unlock and get slow boom and tilt movement for a few seconds before it locks up again. So i pulled the joystick and found this. Looks like its been that way for years so possibly previous owner or factory not sure which. Either way can i splice/repair the bad/"squished" spots or are these something overly sensitive that's gunna require the entire joystick to be replaced and recalibrated?
So fixing the pinched wires did nothing to fix the issue not really sure where to go from here. If i pull back ever so slightly on the joystick i can get the loader arm lock to disengage, if i pull back fully on the stick to raise the boom it immediately locks if i do it slow the boom will raise to max height, if i push the stick forward at all the lock engages instantly. Only way i can get the boom arms down is to hit the float button while slowly pushing the stick forward and once the boom fully lowers it immediately locks again. Once unlocked tilt both ways works perfect regardless of angle/pressure on the joystick. I would think the joystick is bad considering the codes say it is as well as only getting changes in operation based on joystick position. Anyone know a way to confirm its bad? Are both left and right joystick bases essentially the same and can i swap them to see if the problem jumps sides?
Have you checked your door safety switch and wire harness for damage.
I unplugged the door entirely and got no change. in the past ive run the machine without a door (summer and no AC) and had no issues just unplugging and removing it machine operated fine with no codes or warnings
I liked Vetech63 suggestion, makes total sense as to working perfect, and then nothing. Check wire harness from joystick to computer, for damage. You might need scan tool to see what joystick is really doing. I saw a video, were someone had worked on joystick and put the boot on backwards(yes there was a front and back) and sitting at rest the boot was pulling the stick ever so slightly, causing lock out and codes.
