So this excavator is giving me the fault code spn 653 fmi 5. It has a cummins 6.7 in it and mechanic told me it was something to do with injector 3 solenoid driver. He claimed to have ohmed wiring harness and had no issues and told me it was ecm issue. I removed it took it and had all internals tested nothing wrong with ecm and the tester said it has to be injector harness wire issue. Anyone ever had this issue I'm at a loss. The mechanic also claimed to have moved injector 2 and 3 wires to try and get fault code to switch and it did not is where he came up with the ecm issue .
