2018 CAT 304e2 CR Hour Meter Issue

I have a 2018 Cat 304e2 CR. The hour meter by the floor board is acting up and showing some weird numbers. The display is also full of monster. It has the digital display also that has some useful info but no hours. Is there a way to determine or figure out the true hours on the machine? Does the ecu store the hours that CAT can read and I can replace the meter to reflect the true hours? Thanks
