I have a Cat 272D Skidsteer (see photo for ser#) of which I wanted to ask if anyone knows the current draw on the factory block heater? I had the block heater on the other day & could not detect the any engine warmth when touching the motor after a couple of hours. Put my tester on today & I get a reading of only about 3.8 amps x 120v draw. I was thinking it would be more like 10-12 amps. Anyone know the draw if there are specs on it? Thanks
The Book says it's rated 400W @ 115V supply voltage. Just under 4 amps current draw then.
