I have purcased a 2004 jd310sg. While operating it stays in 4wd and will not release into 2wd. The switch only has 3 wires running to it To me it seems to be missing any kind of power wire?? Regardless of the switch why would it stay in 4wd and not 2wd? Solenoid stuck? Combination of both?
Welcome to HEF Edward ! If there is no voltage to the MFWD solenoid, then the machine defaults to 4WD. You need voltage to turn 4WD off. Check your fuses first.
