303.5 Cat Excavator Won’t Move

Farmgirl93 · 2023-08-23 22:28

Hi. The engine cranks and motor runs great, but it won’t move (tracks) nor any of the arms, hydraulics. Pulled it up under shed and parked, everything worked perfect. Weeks later, crunk it up with this issue. All wiring has been traced and checked. Valves engage and coupling has pressure. What should I check next?

"Valves engaging and coupling has pressure", Please clarify. Pilot solenoid coil open?

The hydraulic hoses are getting pressure. All fluid levels are full with no leaks. Pilot solenoid coupling checked out. Not sure about coil.

Can you clarify what tests you've done to confirm "The hydraulic hoses are getting pressure"? The symptoms you are describing fit a (not-uncommon) pump drive coupling failure. Machine serial number required for more info.

    What's a pilot solenoid coupling?
