Ive got a Cat 416C, with 3054T engine. Ive got head off and am going to do an in-frame. Has dry liners, they look good. Can i hone and replace rings? Or do liners need to be replaced as well?
Welcome to HEF, Billy !! If the bores are in nice condition they can be honed for new piston rings. Provided the taper of them are within specs.
