Next Gen. Cat has the Power on Demand feature. When center of throttle dial is pushed it lights up green. That activates Computer control to monitor and adjust engine to meet power demand. When I first demoed machine the display also showed a Smart icon in the top center of the display that when the POD was actually in use would light up green as well. When engine rpms returned to normal the green would go out of the icon. Well now it doesn't do that. If the POD is activated in the center knob the smart icon is on the screen. If the POD is deactivated the smart icon on the display disappears. So my question is was I imagining that the display smart icon was toggling green when computer controlled engine or has the green light stopped working?
