parking brake locks up with alarm then after about 10 seconds releases by itself whats the problem ?
Is the tranmission a powershift? Parking brake uses transmission charge pressure to release. If trans is not a power shift you can swap the solenoids on the side of trans to see if problem follows solenoid. There are 3 solenoids 1 for park brake 1 for 4wd 1 for diff lock. I can not remember what order they are off the top of my head. If it is a power shift they are on top and you might have to remove floor plate to swap
Also is the park brake pyhsically locking up or is just the light and buzzer going off. If the brake is not physically locking up then it is probably just the pressure switch going bad on top of p brake housing
