Good day i am having issues with my 310g backhoe .... there is no power at the dash monitor when key is turn to on also backhoe doesnot turn over when key is switch to the start position. I have checked the battery they are at 12v The fuse are all fine non are blown Relays are clicking and there is continuity bewteen them the start relay measures 12v During my analysis i noticed when i checked the key switch BAT and IGN terminals continuity is present there but i am getting OL at BAT and ST terminals could it be a bad key switch cause no light in the dash and the machine to not start? Also when checking the accessory relay beside the fuse column I am getting 12voltage at B11 red also B14 terminal respectively. When i disconnect all the wires from the accessory relay and connect a 12v power source on the small terminal on the accessory relay grounded i am not hearing any click. Also when measuring for continuity on the big terminals i am getting OL . I am wondering if i am doing this correctly. Machine serial number T0310gx927289 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

OHM Meter testing wires only tells you if there is a path from A-B. It does not tell you how strong the path is. A fully charged battery is 12.6 volts and does not go to below 10-10.5 volts when the key switch is turned to and held for 5 seconds in the start position. How far is your battery dropping in voltage with the key held in start mode. Does the actual starter solenoid make a strong clunk if your hand is on it while somebody else turns the key to start. If you do not have a good meter or knowledge of using one, you can ask and we won't make fun of you as we all started somewhere. Simon C

Just re-read your post. Your meter needs to be set on DC volts on a scale of about 40 volts or less. If it has a lower scale how much is it. Simon C

Do you have voltage at the B15/16 wires coming out of the accessory relay with the key on? If not, you need a relay.
