310SK or 410J ?

Looking at either one. The K is a Tier IV motor and the J is a Tier III. What's your opinion? Justin

Well, got the 410J. Be a month before quick detach front with bucket and forks and also rear thumb. Haven't heard enough feedback on K series yet.

    Get 410

Looks like you already bought the 410 and that was the right choice.

Yes, it will be first part of Jan. before it will be ready. Has 29 hrs. on it. They had to order in the thumb and quick detach front w/ bucket & forks. It had a 1,450# front counterweight on it and they are putting a smaller counterweight on since it will have quick detach, but I think it will still be around 1,000# counterweight.

Keep the heavier chin weight if it will clear. The 410s can be tail heavy.

You aren't kidding about the machine being tail heavy! This thing is light up front with the front weights even. It is even scary when I change out to the forks. Forget climbing grades with the forks. But this machine is nice! The extendable stick already has spoiled me. If you use the hoe if really makes it stable if you load the bucket first for more front weight. I got the 1.3yd bucket. I should have gotten the 1.5yd though for both added nose weight and also with the detachable bucket you can not curl the bucket as much and is harder to heap the dirt in the bucket. Plenty of power though and the heavy 21,000#+ weight of the machine has not been a hinderence yet even getting in some mud.
