Just to give you guys a heads up, our 330D recently has been bogging down while working. We called Cat in and they knew right away that the fuel pump was bad. I was talking to the guy about it and he said that they have been having a run of bad pumps, and right before he came to service ours, he just got done with another one. It runs great now.
Not only in the 330D, any CAT equipment with the C-9 engine in it is having the run of bad luck, bearing in the HUEI pump is letting going at early hours and forcing metal into the injectors causing excessive damage to fue system.
320d Rr Same thing in our's. 12 hours.... I hope the replacement pump is fixed!
