416 Transmission Leak

Transmission would leak from the drain passage between the bell housing and engine while operating and yield a 6" diameter puddle upon shut down. Pulled the transmission, cleaned the bell housing interior and the torque converter. Installed new converter seal and pump to housing gasket. Reinstalled transmission but leak reappeared after 10 minutes run time. Leak was traveling down the bell housing on both sides of the converter bolt access hole but not on its rear edge. Converter had no oil on it. Pulled the transmission and saw the oil pattern shown in the attached photos. No oil on the converter and pump casting other than the drip that occurs when the converter is removed. Pump casting has no oil but the bell housing is coated from the pump to housing circumference. Transmission oil has UV dye in it and confirms there is no oil trace on the pump casting or the converter. Other than the bell housing to transmission case bolts the pattern makes no sense to me. Ideas appreciated.
