428b Backhoe hyd dipstick

Hi guys, could someone help me out with the measurements of a hydraulic dipstick to suit a Cat428b backhoe? Mine is missing and I need to make one!! Thanks, Raymans' Daughter

    The hydraulic fluid level is measured visually, via a sight glass.

    Thank you heymccall. much appreciated. Did they really have to make it so small and obscure?? Next Q is--do you close all the rams up or have everything , bucket dowm-digger stretched out or closed up??? enquiring minds need to know

    Backhoe folded up in transport position, loader on the ground with loader bucket rolled back
