I have 444E that leaks hydraulic oil even when it is not running. It will drain the tank sitting just sitting there. It appears to us it is leaking out the top servo cylinder on the pump. Is that possible to leak from there when it's not running? Also what is the best way to gain better access?
Welcome to HEF Dave . Just to clarify , is it the hydraulic oil tank or the hydrostatic oil tank that is emptying ? See screenshot below identifying the system oil level gauges.

The component that is highlighted in the pic is the hydrostatic drive pump. If the oil leak is originating from the area shown, the hydraulic/ hydrostatic reservoir will need to be removed before removing the hydrostatic drive pump.
