I need to ask a favor of some of yall loggers/mechanics. Our Cat 518 Turnaround FB we made into a landfill compactor started loosing water to the block. We are gonna have the trans mission redone while the motor is being done. We had an offer on a 515 Cat skidder with AC and new rubber. We want to use our 518 wheels on the 515 but I think the 515 is an internal planetary axle machine. What we want is a new machine for a back up and use the rubber off the new machine to go onto the old one for trans port to the shop. Im not super swooft on Logging machines. Is there any other Cat skidder that has the same 518 pattern? Thanks in advance TL
