Have a leaky hydralic site gauge on the side of tank. Do I have to drain tank to take apart. Thinking its an O ring or gasket replacement?

    just think about this a minute,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,leak on sight tube on SIDE of tank,,,,,,,,,,,

    I think you need to drain the hydraulic oil to below the level of the sight tube.That way you won't lose any of it.
