The temp indicator goes to full hot indication after a few minutes of operation. Engine is not yet fully warm. Does anyone have a suggestion for a quick fix? Thanks
How have you checked the engine temp to ensure it is not warmed? If it is original they are an electric gauge, check for shorts to ground in the wire to the sender. Then if the gauge is working, which it sounds like it is, I would replace the sender first and try that. My service manual shows no specifications for the sender resistance, maybe one of the techs on here may have them. The gauge on my B has been replaced with a mechanical... HTH, Dave
