Long story short. 580c working on repairing brakes. Pretty straight forward. I ended up removing diff side gear on right side to replace diff lock seal. Poking around inside and noticed substantial end play on pinion( countershaft). .050-.060 endplay. Is this do to wrong selective spacer being used? The real question is it possible to remove front cover on trans axle without pulling transaxle? Thanks Wes
