Asking for advice on my 580D case backhoe cylinder rebuilds. My case is at the age where the cylinders & hoses are starting to go quite often. This bucket cylinder on the extend a hoe went yesterday. Rebuild cylinder kit at a case dealer is around $178. 2 months ago the largest cylinder rebuild kit was $164. Is there another supplier that I could use without sacrificing quality but save a good amount????? Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.
Hercules or Bulldog are generally very good seals. They may be related but not positive.
I've also used Hercules with good results. I have also used no name kits off Ebay on smaller cylinders and so far haven't had a problem.
