580E Declutching solenoid removal

Have power to the declutching solenoid, but it don't disengage. How do I remove it

    It should dust unscrew with channel lock pliers.

    is there a good ay to lock shift linckage

    Just put in reverse the lever will hit the stop tab, Like Coy said unscrew with channel locks.
