Can anyone help me with the following codes and what they mean/represent please: 1053 1059 1058 1057 1055 1054 1052 1051 1045 The 1st 8 codes flashed 33 times in this order, and the last one only one time before it died. A Case rep said the display symbol indicate an electrical communication issue. I have had all wires, fusses, relays, grounds, and hot wires checked and all are ok. All gauges come on, but it will not start; only clicks. Any help appreciated.
Not knowing anything about your machine and those codes, usually when someone says, (I hear a clicking sound when I try to start), I say you have a dead battery or a bad connection between the battery and the starter. Could a weak battery also cause all these codes? Maybe someone will tell us.
Check that your battery is 12.4 v or more I'm a trial and error guy that usually learns from mistakes so hopefully some body with knowledge will educated us.
Battery is around 12.7v all connections good , even tried to boost direct to starter. One mechanic crawled under and jumped starter with the key on and motor turns over like it should , it just won't fire off.
Need a little more information. Is this a tier 3, or tier 4? Also what transmission is in it? 1045 - Fuel level sensor open circuit 1047 - Transmission temperature sensor below 3.0 ohms for 5 seconds 1050 - Alternator L+ terminal under 1.5 volts for 5 seconds 1051 - Timeout of CAN message EEC1, 5 seconds without message 1052 - Timeout of CAN message, 5 seconds without message 1053 - Timeout of CAN message CNFBAM, 25 seconds without message 1054 - Timeout of CAN message engine temperature, 5 seconds without message 1055 - Timeout of CAN message inlet/exhaust, 5 seconds without message 1056 - Timeout of CAN message engine fluid, 5 seconds without message 1057 - Timeout of CAN message vehicle electrical, 5 seconds without message
Wow thanks, it is a tier 4. Finally got it running but acts like its only on couple cylinders (really rough , low rpm's and no power). Found two wires shorting out near main harness plug on left side top of engine, which popped 20a fuse called ''ecu b+'' . also collected more codes since i got it started: 3077, 3069,and 3188. Any chance it could recover after running a while now that everything is plugged back in and it is running ? Not sure about the trans other than its a shuttle shift 4spd. Here is the vin# jjgn580nccc560143 it is a 2012 model 4wd open cab. Thanks again , i really appreciate the info.
Took it to dealer today for diagnostic and those two codes indicate fuel injectors 3 and 4 are not working. I believe the two wires that shorted out go to those injectors . Hoping it didn't damage them.
