Can someone tell me how to test the directional solenoids. What else would it be, it doesn't shift from fwd to reverse.
Is this a powershift or a shuttleshift transmission? Not sure on your description of 590SM "+" ????? It should be a 590SM or a 590SM series 2 or series 3.
I'm not too sure what the + means either. 590 super m + series 3 is what's on the side of it. it is a shuttle shift with powershift although that's not working and I'm having a though time getting to the bottom of it.

Does it have any movement in any direction or gear?
yes thanks, apparently it is the last series in '08 before the super n.
the transmission works fine accept sometimes when trying to go fwd it will go out of gear, but if you go in rev first then fwd its fine. i wonder if it might be the speed sensor or the rail sensor throwing a code.
Is it an electric shifter?
yes 4 speed shuttle and the power shift won.t work
thats why I'm wondering about the speed sensor not reading what gear its in to shift.
