I run it for a while and starts throwing code f497 it boggs down stop light comes on i stop then it goes off shut it off crank it back and good to go again for about another 30 mins . whats going on anybody have this problem?
That is "Increased Resistance Or Inductance Detected In Fuel Injection Circuit" There is 2 wires that plug in to rear of injection pump. Directly in middle of back end where fuel injection lines come out. That plug will loosen up. The cap that the harness plugs into will cause a problem as well. Could easily pull harness from ECU and ohm these 2 wires to pump. 1 out of about 4 times of checking this code it was the Stanadyne injection pump.
