688 case

I have a 688 case, after new pumps were installed the control pressure is low. Will not engage the spools. Does anyone know what the control pressure should be on this machine ?

If your talking about the pilot pressure, 25-36 bar. You should have a manifold under the cab with a bunch of hoses, it should have a test port, cap screws off, and you will need the adapter fitting to your test hose and gauges, it is called the (M4) for checking pilot pressure.

Yes I have located test port there. Pressure is low. Is there anyway to set it up?

Does your machine have a Linde style with the two screw on filters and a small pilot pump on the end, or the Rexroth pump. A serial number would also help. Did you have the pump set up by a case tech when it was replaced. Are you reading any pressure at the M4 test port. I would check the 8 amp fuse in the elect panel, it is the F 12, middle of the board on the rt side, currant flows to the armrest switch, then with the armrest down it travels to the solenoid that gives you pilot pressure to work the levers. The solenoid is located next to the swing brake release valve.
